E*ECAD Expands Offering of Translogic Products as Suite of Tools
Now Available for Monthly Rental and Perpetual License Purchase
Nov. 4, 2003— E*ECAD, Inc. announces the expansion of its recent software and distribution partnering agreement with Translogic B.V. to provide for monthly rental and perpetual license sale of their industry leading tools as a single HDL Design Entry Suite. EASE was the initial tool offered by E*ECAD as a monthly rental. The Suite is comprised of three individual tools for improved user experience in a cost effective environment. They include EASE, HDL Companion, and EALE. The product family provides designers with the necessary tools to achieve accurate and efficient design objectives for front-end design projects, allowing migration and management of the design in a highly flexible manner.
EASE generates optimized HDL (VHDL, Verilog, or mixed) code for the design, and offers the option of graphical or text based entry for complex design activities. HDL Companion extracts complex design structures from HDL sources, and provides for rapid parsing of multi-million gate designs in seconds. It allows for rapid navigation through the design, automating recurring tasks for faster execution. EALE is a user-friendly HDL language sensitive editor, offering numerous features for enhancing HDL design development and modification. The HDL Design Entry Suite provides for revision control in a multi-user environment.
